Assoc. Dr. Cüneyt NARİN was born in 1970 in Denizli. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Denizli. He graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1994. Between September 1994 and May 2000, he completed his specialty education in Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. During his assistantship training, in August 1998, Dr. K.G. He worked alongside Watterson to gain experience in congenital heart surgery. After his residency, he worked as a specialist in Dokuz Eylül University Medical Faculty Cardiovascular Surgery Department for 4 months. After 9 months of private sector experience, he started to work as a permanent doctor at Ege Health Hospital in June 2001. In September 2004, he was appointed as an assistant professor at Selcuk University, Meram Medical Faculty, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. She worked as a Research Fellow at Texas Heart Institute, Cardiovascular Surgical Research Laboratory, Houston, Texas, USA between August 2008 and February 2009. Between February and August 2009, he participated in surgeries as Surgical Assistant in Texas Heart Institute, Cardiac Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support Clinic, Houston, Texas, USA. He received the title of associate professor in 2010. Having fulfilled the conditions stipulated in the Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Association Qualification Directive and succeeded in the two-stage proficiency exam (written and oral), Dr. Narin received a certificate of competence (Board Certificate) in the Cardiovascular Surgery Specialization Department on May 29, 2011. Between August 2011 and January 2014, Dr. Narin has been working at İzmir City Hospital since October 2020. Dr. Narin is married and has two children.
