I was born in Giresun in 1965.
I graduated from Kadıköy Anatolian High School in 1983.
I graduated from Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1989.
In 1994, I completed the Internal Diseases specialization in the Ministry of Health Haseki Hospital.
In 1994, I was appointed as an assistant professor at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine.
Between 1997-1998, I specialized in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in Istanbul Medical Faculty.
In 2000, I got the title of Associate Professor.
In December 2005, I was appointed as the Chief Physician of Trabzon Numune Training and Research Hospital.
I received the title of Professor from Rize University Faculty of Medicine on 21.07.2010.
As of 02.11.2012, I was appointed as the Hospital Manager of Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital.
As of 08.01.2013, I left my duty as the hospital manager at Kanuni Training and Research Hospital and worked as the clinic chief in the Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases Clinic.
I worked as the Dean of Rize Recep Tayyip Erdogan University Faculty of Medicine for three years starting from 26.08.2013.
I retired on 27.04.2017.
I am married and have four children.
