Born in 1965 in Muğla, Dr. L. Barlas AYDOĞAN graduated from Bornova Anatolian High School in 1983. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1990 and specialized in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Çukurova University between 1990-1997. During this period, he conducted scientific studies at the University of Pittsburgh ENT Clinic in the United States between 1992-1994.

After completing his military service at Çiğli 2nd Main Jet Base between 1998-2000, he started working at Çukurova University again. Aydoğan became Associate Professor in 2002 and was appointed professor in 2007 at the same faculty.

The associations he is a member of are Turkish ENT and Head and Neck Surgery Association, Pediatric ENT Association, American Academy of Otolaringology Head Neck Surgery, Çukurova ENT Association, Turkish Rhinology Association and Halil Avcı Hearing Impaired Foundation. He worked as a board member in the Turkish Rhinology Association for 2 years. He is currently a Board Member of the Turkish Rhinology Association and Co-Chair of the 12th National Meeting of the Facial Plastic Surgery Association.

Having 51 domestic publications and 30 international publications, Dr. Aydoğan has also appeared in chapters of 8 books. He has two books titled “Rhinosinusitis Diagnosis and Treatment Guide” and “Algorithmic Approach from Symptom to Diagnosis, Diagnosis to Treatment in Ear Nose Throat” which he edited.

His main areas of interest are Rhinology, Aesthetic nose surgery, head and neck cancer treatment, surgical treatment of thyroid diseases, treatment of pediatric ear, nose and throat diseases and ear diseases.
He is married and has 1 daughter.

His hobbies include swimming, tennis and skiing. Aydoğan loves to read books.
After leaving the Çukurova University in February 2011 with the enactment of the full time law, Dr. Aydoğan continues his professional life in Private Galleria ENT center in Adana.
