I received primary education in Denizli / Tavas and secondary education in Tarsus American High School. I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of English Medicine in 1989. In the same year, I started my specialization at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology.
After working at Dışkapı Research and Training Hospital for 3 years after my specialization, I returned to Gazi University Faculty of Medicine as a lecturer. I became an Associate Professor in 2000 and a Professor in 2006. I served as Deputy Chief Physician and Deputy Dean in our faculty in 2004-2008.
To increase professional experience, nasal and endoscopic sinus surgery was performed primarily in Holland / Utrecht, Germany / Regensburg, in 1994 USA / University of Pennsylvania; In 2006, I worked in the US / Stanford University Ear Nose Throat Departments, with sleep breathing with priority, snoring and apnea.
I was also a scholarship student of TÜBİTAK in High School; Afterwards, I won NATO and European Rhinology Association scholarships. I passed the ECFMG exams in order to work as a licensed doctor in United Pictures.
I have more than 100 scientific studies in national and international dimensions.
I have served as a board member, session chairman, panel moderator, panel member in national and international scientific meetings and gave speeches.
I took office as a board member in associations related to the field of Otorhinolaryngology and as the president of the Turkish Rhinology Association.
I can speak English and French at a very good level.
My scientific interests and my specialty student thesis consultancy are nose and sinus diseases and surgery, research, diagnosis and treatment of nasal polyps.
