She was born in Ankara. She graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. She started her specialization training at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Surgery and received the title of Pediatric Surgery Specialist. She continued to work as chief assistant in the same clinic and received the title of Associate Professor of Pediatric Surgery. She still continues to work as a faculty member in the same Department. She speaks English well. She is married.
